Letting Someone Help - Day 2

Giving and being of service to others bonds us to them. When we accept help from others, it allows them to feel close to us.Application: When we’re trying to do it by ourselves and it’s not working well, when we know we’re in over our head and we’re about to drown, when we’re doing it by ourselves but it’s difficult and hard, or when someone gently offers, it may be time to say, “Help.” Don’t forget to say, “Please.” Be a little vulnerable. Relax those defenses. Let yourself receive. From the book: 52 Weeks of Conscious Contact
