Generosity - Day 7

Since that trip to Tibet, I have reevaluated my giving.

On a couple occasions, when I knew someone really admired a possession that belonged to me, I gave it to that person. “Here, you can have it,” I said. “It’s yours.” The look of amazement on their faces when I said it was nothing compared to what I felt.Generosity is the value we practice. Nonattachment is a gift.

Prayer: Guide me about when and how to give. Help me live with a generous spirit toward others and myself. Thank you for all the generosity you’ve shown me.
